Shoes

My floors are light color and show everything so as you enter I’ll have you remove your shoes. I know not everyone loves that so feel free to bring slippers or something like that if you prefer. I have a fully covered deck area so we will likely spend time outside, just fyi.

Overall Temperature

Regardless of the time of the year my place will be somewhere between cool & cold. The thermostat is set to 71 during the day and 68 overnight in the summer. During the winter it is set as such that the heat will not often kick on but my place is insulated very well so the temp is often around 68. I have lots of throw blankets, plenty of bedding, and you are welcome to bring a hoodie or whatever you would like to make yourself more comfortable.

Waking up

When you wake up for the day feel free to help yourself to a cup of coffee, shower & get ready, go sit on the deck and read, stay in your bed and watch tv--really whatever you feel like.

Sleeping

I sleep with white noise in stereo so it is unlikely anything you would do would wake me up outside of actively trying to wake me up so feel free to watch TV, have a snack, etc if you can't sleep. Due to the weird room vent system they used please make sure to turn off the hallway, bathroom, and laundry room lights
